I should be ashamed of myself for neglecting this place. With all that’s been going on, I’ve sort of lost my momentum. Also, I was without laptop for a few days due to a lazy power supply that eventually pooped out.. but alas, a new one arrived and now I’ve got one less excuse for being so dull.
In all honesty though, there really isn’t much worth mentioning. I’ve begun selling my things which is always fun and shopping for new things, which is even more fun.
As far as my anxiety is concerned, it is no better than it was a few weeks back and not a day goes by where I don’t just want to pop that little pink pill and not have to deal with it. But I’ve stayed strong and I figure that I’ve made it this far so I can make it another day, and then another week, and then hopefully, at some point, I will remember how to cope.
Physically, I am exhausted but remarkably healthy according to my recent labs and diagnostics (both my FSH and Estradiol were very low, which is very good). Heck, even my Dr. was impressed by the loveliness of my junk (ovaries, uterez, follicles…) which were studied during an ultrasound a few weeks back. However, I have been placed on a medication called Clomid which I am to take for five consecutive days each month in order to help “regulate things”. The good thing is that it is safe, for the most part, and I should respond really well to it. The bad thing is that it has been known to produce yucky side effects (I am bloating as I type this) but so far, so good… just a bit puffy and a lot grumpy.
In addition to the medication, I am beginning weekly acupuncture sessions to help “balance things out”. Apparently, acupuncture in conjunction with western medicine has shown to works miracles so I am very optimistic, I think.
Onward and upward…
