Although I’d like to think that things couldn’t get worse. I suppose they can get worse and they most likely will and I am ready to accept my fate. Bring it on.
Being busy is being busy…however, the cash is not flowing in from all of this busy-ness and things (such as eating and paying bills) are getting to be a bit tricky. My one day a week , for one week each month paying job has cut back my hours/rate… it’s almost funny in a “fuck am I crying or laughing or throwing up?” hysterical kind of way.
Yes, I have been shooting 3-4 times, or more, a week but I have yet to land any paying style job. I was dead set against taking nude photos… there are so many photogs who do nudes aka 18+ type of work (surprise surprise) and that was NOT going to be my angle. However, I think I may rethink it. Why? Because they are most always PAYING jobs and can be good paying jobs besides I am running out of options.
Maybe it is a dumb idea …I am feeling a bit irrational this morning due to the fact that I am out of coffee, had a dream that terrorists vandalized and ransacked my old Saab, and because my money sucking cell phone just got shut off.. which opens up a ton of other issues…such as how does one get a job without a phone. Can’t I just be dealt one issue at a time? ho ho ho .
Luckily there is email, a payphone accross the street if need be and the liqour store sells coffe for a buck (thanks samplezz!). I have survived worse. Oh, and also..thank GOD that I had this extra keyboard because it is very hard to type anything without the letter A. THAT would have been more disasterous than anything.
Oh well, I am gonna go work out..walk the dog…turn a few tricks, do some dishes, scrub the vomit off the wall and leap into my imaginary world where good will is in abundance.

What does your hubby do for a living? No money coming in there, either, I presume. Please dont lower your standards, Colleen. Wish I could send you more money but I’m in the same boat…as everyone is right now. I’m liquidating my inventory of collectables on ebay. If something sells for more than expected, you may see another donation soon.

hey guy’s,you all sound like you’re living in the third world !! Ok,things going pretty bad right now,but money isn’t all. Well, maybe it’s because we have better social security system here in Europe? In the US it’s all of nothing,meaning that you can loose evrything in a short period,and left without nothing,littary…We have a buffer,if you loose your job,you recieve money from the state. Not for a short periode,but until you find a new job.But for that we pay allot of taxes,like in my case about 50% of my income…but medical care is very cheep and good,schools are almost for free,and so on. I know this is not the American way of life, but in my opinion it’s better for the society. We don’t have too ma
ny desperate people,willing to kill for money for example. We don’t have too many homeless,and so on. I’m not telling you that the usa is wrong, but i only want you to know how our system works. But I hope everything will goes in the right direction for all of you,so keep laughing;-)
